Happy New Year! I just wanted to let you know that the quilt was the best gift ever! Steve’s mom loved it, she was very emotional when she saw it but she can’t thank us enough.
Thanks again for all your hard work in getting it done for Christmas.
I received the quilt on Christmas Day. It’s the most beautiful, meaningful thing I’ve ever received. There are not enough words to thank you for doing that and all the time you put into it to make it so special. The loss of my mother has been one of the most emotional losses I’ve had to experience, and to have this memory quilt means more to me than words can express. Every time I use the quilt I’m reminded of my mother’s beautiful white hair, her big blue eyes and her beautiful smile and it brings me comfort. I will be forever grateful for your kindness in making the quilt.
Thank you for the beautiful wedding quilt. It completely blew my mind. It was so thoughtful – I think it should be a tradition at everyone’s wedding to have one signed.
I cannot thank you enough for making such a beautiful quilt – it is beyond anything I could have imagined coming from all those clothes! You are amazingly talented, generous and kind. We are so grateful and touched by all your time and effort! This is something that will be cherished forever!
There is no adequate way of thanking you for both taking on the task of making the quilt for my mother, and for doing the amazing job you did with it. It is absolutely beautiful! The thought and care you took to transform my father’s shirts into this creation that will be with generations of his bloodline to come was incredible. I just love the notion that these shirts he truly lived in are in this quilt that is now my mother’s security, comfort blanket! It is an ongoing gift that will be giving her comfort for the rest of her days. You truly have “the quiltmaker’s gift.”
There are no words to describe my feelings when Mary gave me the quilt you made. I still get teary just looking at it. You are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your gift and giving me a very, very special quilt. I’ll always think of “Himself” – but the quilt brings him closer!
Where can I begin to say thank you? I am blown away by my mother’s quilt and by the apron you’ve made from his shirts. What a gift and what a talent you have! I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you – it is something I will keep forever…we have keepsakes now to literally hold onto! Many, many thanks!
